So, I'm writing this article to let everyone know which email providers can and cannot be used for registration. Due to OpenAI's restriction on Chinese users, it is basically impossible to register ChatGPT with domestic email providers. The following email providers have been confirmed to be unable to register with OpenAI:
QQ Mail, Foxmail
163 Mail, NetEase Mail (yeah.net), 126 Mail
Sina Mail
Outlook, Hotmail
eud.cn email and other email providers ending with .cn
Gmail (can only be registered through quick login, i.e., Continue with Google). Sometimes, if the IP quality is high enough, it is possible to register using email and password. If the IP quality is not good, it will display "Oops! The email you provided is not supported."
Most domestic email providers are restricted, and during registration, it will prompt: "Signup is currently unavailable, please try again later." The specific reason: The reason why ChatGPT cannot be registered is the error message: "Signup is currently unavailable, please try again later."
Since domestic email providers cannot be used, we can use foreign ones. Here are some common free email providers from abroad that can be used to register ChatGPT accounts. It is recommended to use a foreign IP address during registration.
Gmail
There's nothing much to say about this. Both email + password and Continue with Google methods can be used. If you don't have a Gmail account yet, you can apply for one on the official website. However, it is unlikely that a domestic phone number can be verified. If there are many people who want to register as mentioned in this article, you can consider writing an article on how to register with Google. Otherwise, you can check the email providers mentioned below.

Registration website: https://signup.mail.com/. There are dozens of domain suffixes to choose from, and it is easy to register. No need to verify the phone number (choose email verification), as shown in the image:

Registration website: https://www.zoho.com/mail/. You can register with a Chinese phone number, as shown in the image:

ProtonMail
Registration website: https://account.proton.me/signup. The registration interface is very simple:
You can choose either the proton.me or protonmail.com suffix. I used an email with the proton.me suffix to register for a ChatGPT account, as shown in the image above.
Skiff.com
Registration website: https://app.skiff.com/. Registration is very simple, no need for SMS verification. You can add three email aliases, as shown in the image:

AOL.COM
Registration website: https://login.aol.com/account/create
Phone number verification is required, but Chinese phone numbers are not supported. Google Voice also cannot be used, so you can use a number from a virtual phone number platform.
I used sms-activate.org, which allows Alipay recharge and has a Chinese interface, making it very convenient.
After successful registration, you can remove the phone number used for verification on the Account Security page and add your own email as an additional verification method, as shown in the image:
Registering for ChatGPT with an AOL email is also stress-free.
Yahoo.com
Starting from November 1, 2021, users from mainland China will no longer be able to use Yahoo's products and services. However, this does not affect Yahoo's products and services in other parts of the world, so you need to use a foreign IP address to register for a Yahoo email.

Phone number verification is required, and Google Voice cannot be used. You can use a virtual phone number platform. GMX.COM
Registration website: https://signup.gmx.com/. You can choose either the gmx.com or gmx.us suffix. Since gmx.com can no longer register for ChatGPT, I chose the gmx.us suffix. Similar to mail.com, you can choose email as an additional verification method, as shown in the image:

There's no way around it. OpenAI originally restricted usage in China, so many domestic email providers can no longer be used for registration.
